INTERNAL MEDICINE
Treats the various internal systems (respiratory, cardiovascular, renal, endocrine, immune, haemopoietic) and infectious diseases. It is an interdisciplinary subject aimed at treating patients presenting clinical signs referable to more than one organ.
Our internists present basic medical knowledge, and notions of emergency and prevention, using the knowledge and diagnostic means to efficiently treat patients considered critical.
The assessment of the surgery is carried out by the surgeons with a preliminary visit in which the owner is informed about the reasons for resorting to surgery, surgical techniques, postoperative treatment and the prognosis.
Pre-operative investigations are carried out (haematological, radiographic, ultrasound and endoscopic examinations) and a pre-operative visit, by the veterinary surgeon who will follow the anaesthesia during surgery, to assess the clinical condition of the subject and to establish the most suitable anaesthesia protocol.
General surgery, abdominal surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, oral cavity surgery, and dental surgery are performed at our facility.
Scheduled surgery is performed daily - Monday to Thursday - by appointment.

More specific orthopaedic examinations may require sedation or in some cases general anaesthesia.

NeurologY
Neurology is the specialist branch of internal medicine that deals with diseases of the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord) and peripheral nervous system (nerve trunks, roots and plexuses).
Diseases of the nervous system are closely related to the anatomo-functional site of the lesion.
Through the integration of the clinical history and the findings of the neurological examination, hypotheses can be formulated on the location of the problem and possible differential diagnoses to select the most appropriate instrumental investigations (CT MRI, etc.).
OPHTHALMOLOGY
Ophthalmology deals with the evaluation of diseases affecting the eye and its adnexa.
DERMATOLOGY

LASER
The centre is equipped with the latest generation of laser equipment, offering an effective and innovative therapeutic tool applied in fields such as surgery, dermatology, physiotherapy and pain therapy.
